The Kankakee County Training Center operates 12 CILA
(Community Integrated Living Arrangements) homes located in Kankakee, Bradley, and Bourbonnais, IL. Each home was purchased and functions as a community based home for individuals with Developmental Disabilities to strive towards becoming as independent as possible. Each consumer has choices in their everyday lives to live the happiest, safest, and most productive lives possible. Homes consist of 4, 6, or 8 consumers living together maintaining their own homes. Each consumer pays rent monthly and purchases their own groceries at a local store.
